New year = fresh calendar of saints' feast days to celebrate!
Aren't we so fortunate, as Catholics, to have so many incredible saints that are more than willing to come to our aid? I think that it can be very easy to forget the powerful intercessors that they truly are for us - they're closer to God than we are and have a stronger relationship with Him, so it makes sense that we would ask them to pray for us. Take some time this year to learn more about His saints, and grow in friendship with them, so that you can grow deeper in your friendship with Him.
